Atlas Gym 2 was established in 1994. Owner Rhett Bobzien and its members embodied the heart, toughness, and industrial character of Kenosha. The gym originally known as “The Body Shop” was a great place to workout, catering to male powerlifters and bodybuilders. Looking to give the gym a new identity, Atlas Gym 2 was created. A no nonsense gym were people who loved to workout can come in and get there work done without the distractions found in some larger corporate owned health clubs. When working out at Alas Gym 2, it is common to see members helping each other out. Whether it be helping another member by spotting him or her on the bench or perhaps giving advice on how to make an exercise more effective, Atlas Gym 2 provides a team like atmosphere.
As business has grown so has our facility. Starting from just 3000 square feet in space, Atlas Gym 2 is now over 7000 square feet. With increasing our size we have increased our inventory of equipment. Atlas Gym 2 still provides the equipment necessary for male and female competitive and noncompetitive powerlifters & bodybuilders, while also providing the equipment for the everyday workout enthusiast, the person looking to lose weight, or the male and female athlete who want to get ready for the upcoming sports season.
